Educational media in rural areas was insufficient to transfer knowledge; as a result, students are not able to completely acquire the contents taught by the teacher. Therefore, the goal of this project was to produce motivating interactive media of appropriate technology education. Our team gathered information from questionnaires, interviews and direct observation of a class. The results showed that students learned best through “Learning by doing”. Consequently, interactive educational media using PowerPoint was created for the students in rural areas. After using the educational media, the students not only enjoyed the program but also were able to get higher score on the post-test.
