All students with a foreign high school diploma or those attending foreign high school, who wish to request actual Equivalence Certificate or Provisional Equivalence Certificate, in order to apply for an international undergraduate program of Chulalongkorn University.

Admission & Requirements 2022

Qualification of applicants

Applicants must have completed high school or passed an equivalent high school standard test or be currently in their final year of high school (Grade 12 in the US system or Year 13 in the British system).
1.1 Applicants must submit each of the following three documents in which at least 2 out of 3 results must meet the requirements.
1.1.1 Applicants must achieve the prescribed minimum score in any one of the following English Proficiency tests
TOEFL (Paper-based)
⩾ 550 or
TOEFL (Internet-based)
⩾ 79 or
IELTS
⩾ 6.0 or
SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing)
⩾ 500 or
CU-TEP (Chulalongkorn University Test of English Proficiency)
⩾ 80
1.1.2 Applicants must achieve the prescribed minimum score in any one of the following Mathematics tests
CU-AAT (Chulalongkorn University Academic Aptitude Test, Math Section)
⩾ 450 or
SAT (Math)
⩾ 490 or
SAT II (Subject Test) (Math Level 2)
⩾ 600
1.1.3 Applicants must achieve the prescribed minimum score in any one of the following Science tests:
CU-ATS (Chulalongkorn University Aptitude Test for Science) (Chemistry)

SAT II Subject Test (Chemistry)

AP Chemistry
⩾ 3 or
IB Chemistry

1.2 Applicants who meet only 2 out of the 3 requirements from item 1.1 must achieve at least the minimum score as following:

The official score report of the tests in 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 or 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 are valid only if the tests were taken no more than two years prior to the application deadline.
1.3 Have good behavior and be willing to comply with the rules and codes of Chulalongkorn University.
Applicants must pay the application fee in cash directly at any branch of the Siam Commercial Bank. Payment must be accompanied by the Payment Form and made within the payment period specified. After making payment, students must keep the "For Applicant" section of payment form, submit a copy of this section with the Application Form to the BSAC International Office. The receipts will be issued and given on the day of interview.
