With the SATI Foundation, we developed a new behavioral screening method that investigates the well-being and potential mental health issues of underprivileged Thai youths. We helped SATI support the youths at the learning center of Myanmar students aged 13-17 at Pathum Thani Rangsit market with proactive mental illness and bullying prevention. We observed SATI’s initial screening process and arranged meetings with the staff; designed an engaging screening method, a board game, that elicits behavior as well as provides natural learning opportunities for emotional intelligence (EQ); created a form that standardizes the EQ criterion; and provided suggestions for further optimization.
