ISSP [2025] : Rebuilding Community Connections: Expanding the Role of the House of Mahasvasti Museum in Youth Engagement and Cultural Preservation

Abstract      

This research was made possible through the invaluable advice from the lecturers and staff of the Department of Applied Chemistry (BSAC), Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University cooperating with Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). As well as the generous cooperation of key stakeholders, including Associate Professor Dr. Aphilak Kasempholkoon the owner of the House of Mahasvasti Museum. Their dedication in providing guidance, consultation, and suggestions was instrumental in the success of this study.  We also extend our gratitude to the experts and community representatives who participated in interviews, offering their insights and recommendations for developing the cultural conservation model. Additionally, we sincerely appreciate the elementary students of Ban Khlong Maha Sawat School (Tangtrong Chit 17) and secondary students of Matthayom Puranawas School in Nakhon Pathom Province for their involvement in conducting research for the study.  Finally, the research team would like to express our deepest gratitude to Associate Professor Dr. Aphilak Kasempholkoon, Department of Thai Language, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, for generously providing the research funding that made this study possible.
